About VelTxt
VelTxt is an SMS marketing app for Shopify stores. It reads the store's products, reviews and recent orders, writes the text messages, and sends them. Merchants pay per text — no monthly fee and no revenue share.
Status: not yet launched. VelTxt is in development and is going through Shopify app review and toll-free carrier verification. No merchant is using it in production yet.
Who operates it
VelTxt is built and operated by The Tahini Goddess LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, United States. The company is small and the app is new; there is no history or customer base to report yet.
How the names relate
The Tahini Goddess LLC is the legal company. VelTxt is the product — the SMS marketing app the company builds. Goddess All (goddessall.com) is the LLC's own Shopify store, and it will be the first store to send messages through VelTxt, which is why it appears in the sample message. veltxt@shimistyle.me is the company's contact email address for all of the above.
What the app does
VelTxt generates and sends five kinds of message for a merchant's store: a welcome message when a shopper opts in, abandoned cart, abandoned checkout, browse abandonment, and a weekly promotional message. Every message can be reviewed and edited by the merchant before it goes out, and any flow can be switched off.
Messages are sent only to phone numbers that have opted in through the store's own sign-up form or checkout. You can see that form on the sign-up page.
